Banished from Massachusetts, Roger Williams flees into the wilderness, where he founds Rhode Island and, most importantly, leads a revolution in religious freedom. Williams calls for “Soul Liberty,” the bedrock principle that the religious beliefs of Americans cannot be dictated by a government or official church. In the wilderness, Williams also tries to negotiate peace as tensions rise between English colonists and Native Americans.

Keeps getting better

Every comic book in the series gets better and better I do wish they had a separate poster book because some of these double page pictures are just awesome wall art my favorite part about these books is unlike history class growing up where the religious issue was censored this series touches on Keystone faith issues and preachers and the hostility of other factions of faith. The Native American tribes aren't stereotype overall a fair and fun historical lesson with artwork that time walks you into history
