I’m a published children’s book illustrator, as well as designer with work featured regularly on tv, so I’m pretty selective about the artwork I put in front of my children.
I’ve purchased Kingstone Comics for the past several years for all of my children - girls and boys. The graphics are wonderful and great for kids who love comic books.
I only have one caveat: I would hold off on handing the novels over to the younger children, especially those who are emotionally sensitive. Like all comic books, the artwork is very dramatic and can be too emotionally dark for them. They need to get to the right age. Teens are ready for the serious material and visuals. My younger son wasn’t ready for it at age nine, whereas my older was. You’ll have to decide what your children are ready for.
It’s very biblically sound and accurate. I love that they are venturing into other subject areas like history and languages. We’ll be purchasing and collecting everything they make!
