I have been a comic book collector since I was 12 years old. I am now 57 years old. I seen the decline of your mainstream comics. And on that decline, the artwork has not been very well.
I’ve stopped my comic book collecting for over three months now, but I gotta be honest that I still wanted to read them. I wanted to collect them yet, but I couldn’t bring myself to go into the comic bookstore. I knew it was wrong.
So one day recently, IF sometime last week that I was looking at Facebook and the Kingstone appeared on there so I clicked on it and I started looking at the books that were available. I was astonished. The artwork was amazing. The story was top-notch. If I would have to rate this book and we would only have five stars, I would go to 10. I really enjoyed ANGELS.
A must for everyone
I own most of the products that Kingstone produces and "Eternity" is my favorite. I love the artwork and the storyline. It's a great graphic novel and can be enjoyed by everyone from elementary-age children to senior adults.
Amazing quality. The vivid colors and great artwork keeps the reader engaged. This set would make a great gift to families with kids. But as a grown adult, I can't put it down. I also love that it's hard cover so the pages are better protected. It was very carefully packaged. I appreciate the protective styrofoam to keep the edges from getting dented during shipment. Overall, just excellent!
I cant wait to use this as a companion for kur History curriculum. What a fun way to learn History!
I still concider myself new to the bible as a book, since I have only read few books from the old testament and few from the new testament.
This visual version of the bible has really sparked a hunger for the bible and the Word. I just cant stop reading!
Honestly, one of the best comic series I've ever read. I typically read more adult fare: fantasy, sci-fi, history, horror, war, etc. Long-form omnibus graphic novel type stuff. These fit right in. They are definitely intended as a series and meant to be read in the above listed order. I read the entire comic set with my seven year old by his request. He also loves 'Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales' and the 'I Survived' series of graphic novels. These comics were fantastically illustrated with vibrant color and thoroughly well-written. Hard recommend. Good for old, young, those who claim to know history, and those who don't. I'm considering picking up this omnibus and gifting the comics to a friend. Alternatively, you could buy the 'Classroom Bundle' which has the three additional titles, 'Forging', 'The Constitution', and 'Stars and Stripes'. But hard to pass up this single volume omnibus given the story-arc of contents.
